The First Stars Competing On 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 24 Announced

Sorry Dancing with the Stars fans, Season 24 will be without at least two of its most beloved veteran pros.

Only a day after it was revealed that Mr. T and Simone Biles are joining the latest season of DWTS, it was reported that an unnamed member of Fifth Harmony and former Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan will also be joining the cast.

New mum Ashlee Simpson, 32, is also a no go.

Kerrigan, 47, gained her fame at the Winter Olympics in 1992 and 1994 in women's figure skating, though it is her run-in with Tonya Harding that most people probably remember.

JC Penney closing up to 140 stores, offering retirement buyouts
Penneys says it plans to release a full list of planned closures in mid-March pending notification of all affected personnel. Penney's outlook for 2017, including the impact of closing stores, calls for same-store sales to be flat, plus or minus 1%.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama, 53, also turned the show down - even though she strutted her stuff on stage during a So You Think You Can Dance All Stars performance in 2015 to celebrate the fifth birthday of her Let's Move! campaign to encourage folds to exercise. It's similar to when they cast Wanya Morris: You may not know his name, but you know Boyz II Men. If the reality TV star agrees to join the cast, he will be following in the footsteps of fellow Bachelor nation alums Trista Sutter, Jake Pavelka, Melissa Rycroft, and Chris Soules. It appears the producers of the hit reality competition show may have stumbled onto a hot trend in casting for future DWTS seasons when they struck gold - quite literally - with 2016 gymnastic Olympian and confirmed delightful human, Laurie Hernandez.

With the official cast announcement scheduled for Wednesday, March 1 the Season 24 pro line-up should gradually begin to come to light as additional pros weigh in on their involvement in Season 24 - though there is a strong chance that the complete and official pro roster won't be revealed until the celebrity cast is unveiled on Good Morning America on March 1.

Dancing With the Stars season 24 premieres March 20 at 8 p.m.
