On Saturday, an unidentified person was arrested for jumping over a bike rack near the White House, according to CNN.

The two incidents happened eight days after a man breached an outer perimeter fence and scaled a vehicle gate to gain entry to the White House lawn, raising questions about lapses in security under the Secret Service's watch.

The man jumped over the bike rack on Pennsylvania Avenue at a little before 1 p.m. Criminal charges are pending.

President Donald Trump was inside at the time.

Asked how he got there, he said he "jumped the fence". Sean Patrick Keoughan, 29, of Roanoke, Va., reportedly drove up in a stolen Chevy Impala and told Secret Service officials "there's a bomb in the trunk" while clasping an unidentified object in his hand.
