Farooq Abdullah Files Nomination for Srinagar ByPoll

The PDP and National Conference candidates from Srinagar parliamentary constituency filed their nomination papers on Monday.

Farooq Abdullah filed his nomination at the office of Srinagar District Development Commissioner Farooq Ahmed Lone, the returning officer for the constituency.

National Conference Patron, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Nazir Ahmad Khan from Peoples Democratic Party will be contesting for Srinagar Parliamentary seat which is going to poll on April 09, 2017. Karra, who defeated Abdullah in 2014 general Lok Sabha polls later joined the Congress after resigning from PDP. The NC and Congress are fighting the by-election together.
