Hawking to travel into space on Branson's Virgin Galactic

The 75-year-old cosmologist and physicist said that while he still admires America, he doesn't feel welcome there with Donald Trump in the White House.

Hawking, who has said multiple times that human-caused climate change is one of the greatest threats to humankind, was also fiercely critical of Trump's appointment of Scott Pruitt to the Environmental Protection Agency.

"I have already completed a zero gravity flight which allowed me to float weightless, but my ultimate ambition is to fly into space", Hawking said.

"But again, I fear this may not happen, as Trump continues to appease his electorate". "But I fear that I may not be welcome".

Morgan asked the man who is best known for his discovery that black holes emit radiation, if had a message for the new US president.

"He should replace Scott Pruitt at the Environment Protection Agency", he said. And it's one we can prevent.

"It affects America badly, so tackling it should win votes for [Trump's] second term, God forbid".

On a more positive note, Hawking also revealed he's planning a trip to space, after Sir Richard Branson offered him a seat on his Virgin Galactic spacecraft.
