The team announced on Monday afternoon that they have signed Davis to their 90-man roster. While the Steelers have younger options, there's not a single drafted player on the roster below Bell, which could mean Davis has a nice chance of making the roster, if Pittsburgh is interested.

Knile Davis has spent most of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs where he showed talent as a backup running back and return specialist.

Davis earned approximately $700,000 last season.

As for Davis, who was drafted originally by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Arkansas, he had all of 18 rushes for 28 yards last season. He also has 34 career receptions with one touchdown. He also had a 108-yard kickoff return against the Denver Broncos in 2013.
