Commenting on the pre-bookings, Tata Motors - President, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Mayank Pareek said, "Denoting the IMPACT design language, best-in-class driving features and an advance infotainment system, the Tata TIGOR Styleback is a clear and exciting harbinger of future vehicles from Tata Motors, set to disrupt the passenger auto market in India". Further, Company says that the City mode will offer a great driving experience and good fuel efficiency, while the Eco mode will optimize engine performance for better fuel efficiency. Unlike most sub-4 metre cars now sold in India, the Tigor has a coupe-like rear design language which adds to a sporty and stylish character, according to Tata Motors. To make it distinguishable from Tiago, the Tigor gets dual-tone front bumper, company's signature grille design with chrome garnishing which extends all the way into crystal-like smoked projector headlamps.

The Tiago is by far the most feature-rich in its segment and with the Tigor, Tata Motors had to raise the bar higher. In the Tigor, however, it comes paired to a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment display. The Tigor also gets automatic climate control, an additional 12V charging point for rear passengers and rear armrest with cupholders. Well ahead of the Tata Tigor's market launch, the company has started with media presentation and here are the first images of the auto.
