Tim Tebow stretches out before batting practice at the New York Mets' complex, Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Though not given an invite to major league spring training, Tebow has been over to the major league side frequently.

Tebow is hitting.235 in eight spring training games, which isn't bad for someone who hadn't played organized baseball in 11 years before signing a minor league contract with the Mets last September. The 29-year-old finished 4-for-14 (.286) at the plate in those three games with two walks.

He had a half chance on six when Karun Nair had a hard chance at short leg off Ravi Ashwin, but otherwise he defended confidently. Whereas O'Keefe has kept one end tied up, the fast bowlers, Cummins and Hazlewood are plying their trade from the other end.

And this song always tends to be the best song on the album-if only because it feels so authentic while leaving you wanting more. Still thinking about you: Drake does rap about his ex claiming to drunk text her and also samples her hit If You Had My Love .

"No one works harder than Tim did this Spring", Collins told Newsday. What he wants is to improve. It was the first time the former National Football League quarterback played organized baseball since his junior year of high school (Allen D. Nease High - Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida) in 2005. "His humility, faith and unwavering commitment to better himself will bring a new dynamic to our clubhouse".

Tebow - who is expected to wear No. 15 for the Fireflies - won the Heisman Trophy at Florida in 2007, and quarterbacked the Gators to the BCS national championship in 2008. The Mets have been playing him in the outfield. Tebow has taken a ton of criticism from scouts who feel he has no business playing professional baseball, and Alderson acknowledged even low Class-A could be a challenge. Left-handers Tom Gorzelanny and Josh Edgin are trying to shake off bad starts to the spring exhibition season and right-handed submariner Ben Rowen is trying to show enough to earn a spot as a non-roster invitee. He also squashed the notion Tebow would be taking the spot of another prospect in the organization or is being used as a publicity stunt.

"We were concerned that it might be a stretch at some point, or could be a stretch", Alderson said.
