Yanks' Didi Gregorius leaves WBC with shoulder injury

According to multiple reports, New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius is on the way back to Tampa a little early, leaving Team Netherlands and the World Baseball Classic because of a shoulder issue.

Unfortunately, manager Joe Girardi said Gregorius has hematoma of the subcapsular muscle and will undergo more tests in Tampa tomorrow.

Gregorius, who was removed from the Netherlands roster, has had a preliminary MRI. Girardi said the Yankees would know more Tuesday.
