Florida (+9) leads by two strokes over Florida State in the team standings, followed by Purdue and Ohio State, both tied at +14.

Three Spartans - Sarah Burnham, Katie Sharp and Paz Marfa Sans - finished the day under par and are now in the top seven of the individual standings. She is tied with Gabby Curtis of Wisconsin. The Tigers shot a team score of 305 (+17) and are tied with North Florida for 13th place in the 18-team field.

The Seminoles finished well after starting off the first round slowly.

Smith began her round on hole No. 10 which ended in a double bogey six on the par four 402 yard hole.

Nistrup would bogey the par 3 third and the par four fifth to go back to even, but a birdie on the eighth hole, a 409 yard par four had her turning in 1-under par.
