Sega has tossed out another little tease that seems to be pointing to a Vanquish PC port. Developer PlatinumGames first released the title back in 2010 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and fans have always been clamoring for a PC port of the third-person shooter. It's already done that with Platinum's Bayonetta, and now the company has once again teased Vanquish, another masterwork from the studio.

The SEGA Europe twitter account has put up an image featuring the "Order of the Russian Star" logo from the game. Atsushi Inaba, Platinum Games co-founder teased the possibility of the game coming to PC in an interview with Kotaku. This pretty much confirms that something from the series is releasing this year, though it's likely going to be the aforementioned port on PC.

This all started about a week ago when Sega updated the new Bayonetta PC port, with the company mysteriously adding an image of the Vanquish armor. We go there, hang out, talk about many different things, and we are very interested in Steam and would definitely like to release games on Windows. PlatinumGames itself has been quite busy of late, producing the highly acclaimed NeiR: Automata and putting in plenty of legwork on the ill-fated Scalebound.

Vanquish is currently available now on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a possible PC port rumored to be announced in 2017.
