The Ohio native is now riding a four-fight win streak with his last defeat, ironically enough, coming at the hands of Junior himself back in December 2014. Miocic is trying to become the sixth heavyweight champion to make consecutive successful title defenses, and dos Santos is seeking to become the fourth fighter to hold the UFC heavyweight title on two different occasions.

- We must wait through another weekend before UFC 211, but the event promises to deliver.

This is a rematch of a 2014 bout won by dos Santos, a former UFC champion himself. He followed it up with a destruction of Mark Hunt, then three straight first-round knockouts. It's not yet known whether that fight will take place, but if it does then the door could be opened for a whole new market within the two sports.

Heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic gets in a training session, some of which he's using a racquet ball in, and then jokes around with his wife at home before heading to CT to do some ESPN work. Dos Santos wound up taking home a decision victory, but he once again left the Octagon looking bruised and battered.

He has 13 wins by knockout, including eight in UFC, and one win by submission. "I joined (UFC) a little later than (dos Santos)". He wasn't too old to compete by any means, but the damage that he had taken in his career up until this point seemed to be catching up to him. She has four wins by knockout, one by submission, and her last three wins have come by unanimous decision.

Stipe Miocic gets ready to defend the UFC heavyweight championship against Junior Dos Santos in a rematch. "If I will get this opportunity to fight for the second belt, I will do that". Not too long ago, many had written the Brazilian off, some even suggesting he hang up his gloves for good.

With the punching power dos Santos possesses, he's never out of a bout.

Miocic added, "He's right". The trilogy was a near carbon copy of their sequel, except this time Velasquez finished dos Santos off in the fifth round after ragdolling him for most of the fight.
