Xiaomi launches entry-level Redmi 4 in India starting at Rs 6999

Xiaomi has added yet another smartphone to its Redmi budget lineup in India with the launch of the new Redmi 4. Currently, it has already been removed and will be back now after the official announcement, but the spread of treasured screenshots page on the Internet cannot be stopped.

The company has launched the smartphone with Snapdragon 435 SoC. Xiaomi Redmi 4 was announced in China with SD 430 Quad Core processor, but in India the company has upgraded to Octa Core Processor.

The device packs a huge 4100 mAH battery.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 price in India is Rs. 6,999. Special beta preview of Android Nougat-based MIUI will be available to users out-of-the-box. Redmi 3s is highest review product in the history of Indian e-commerce. The company claims that the compact form factor let's the phone offer a sharp display despite being a 720p display. The sub 10,000 model will be accompanied by two other variant as well. The phone also comes with a microUSB 2.0 port (for charging and data transfer) with USB OTG compatibility and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone is built around the octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset and paired with 3GB of RAM for handling multi-tasking duties.
