Asus ZenFone AR Is Coming To Verizon Wireless

The Taiwanese electronics major is reportedly planning to release its own Tango-enabled handset - the ASUS Zenfone AR later this year. But the ZenFone AR is certainly going to be the nerdiest device you'll find at Verizon stores, so it'll be interesting to see how Verizon markets Tango and Daydream to the everyday smartphone shopper.

Verizon Wireless will be adding the Asus ZenFone AR to its phone lineup at some point this summer. The ASUS Zenfone AR is also likely to come with a generous amount of RAM - with some reports even saying that it could get up to 8GB of RAM. The ZenFone AR is an important step forward for the brand since it bundles both in one neat package. The ASUS ZenFone AR was developed in close cooperation with Google to deliver the best user experience on both Tango and Daydream platforms.

"Optical and electronic image stabilization help ensure blur-free shots and 4K video recording lets you capture moments in the highest quality". A 23-megapixel camera accompanied with two more sensors for depth sensing and motion tracking will be featured on the rear side of the handset, while its front panel will house an 8-megapixel sensor.
