Karnataka batsman Manish Pandey pipped young spinner and KKR teammate Kuldeep Yadav as the 15th member of the touring party. It will be interesting to see how these three and others perform in ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

The left-handed Dhawan is in good form in the ongoing 10th edition of IPL. There were no surprises in the nearly unchanged ODI squad against England which saw Rohit Sharma's comeback after his injury.

Manish Pandey, who is now representing Kolkata Knight Riders, last played for India against New Zealand in October 2016. "We can not consider Dhoni's form as batsman only".

Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami are making a comeback after an injury layoff. Shami has an ability to swing the ball both ways and he's done and troubled a lot of batsmen with his swing and pace in the past.
