And finally today, India has registered a major diplomatic, moral and legal victory against Pakistan at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in Kulbhushan Jadhav case.

The UN's top court on Thursday (18) ordered Pakistan to stay the execution of an Indian national convicted of spying, in a decision hailed by New Delhi.

Talking to the state-run Pakistan Television after the ruling was delivered, Zakaria said India has been "trying to hide its real face" by taking the case of Jadhav to ICJ.

But the Indian military force didn't agree with this kind of cruel gesture from the neighboring country Pakistan and it went a step ahead registering a case in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for the right judgement in Kulbhushan Jadhav case.

As Pakistan had already denied India consular access to Jadhav, India approached the ICJ for a stay order on the death sentence.

"Pakistan's security is so important and we have to maintain our fundamental sovereign right", The Nation reported him as saying.

In Jadhav's case, Pakistan claimed that its security forces arrested Jadhav from its restive Balochistan province on March 3 past year after he reportedly entered from Iran.

Jadhav, who is married with two children, reportedly joined India's prestigious National Defence Academy in 1987 and was commissioned as an engineer in the Indian Navy in 1991.

Rashid also submitted a resolution in the Assembly secretariat on Thursday condemning the ICJ decision on the execution of Indian spy.

Pakistan's attorney general said that the recent order by ICJ does not change anything in Kulbhushan Jadhav's case. "Jadhav has openly admitted to being a Research and Analysis Wing agent and to being involved in sabotaging peace in Pakistan".

India said it took the rare step of appealing to the United Nations court after Pakistan denied 16 requests for its diplomats to visit Jadhav, and because it felt Jadhav's execution could be imminent.

Pakistan, on the other hand, wanted the ICJ to acknowledge its argument that the bilateral agreement on consular access takes precedence over the VCCR.

He said they hope that the Government of India will continue to mount on pressure.

Replying to a volley of questions on India's possible response if Pakistan does not implement the ICJ order, Mr Baglay said the order is binding on Pakistan.

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif scheduled a national security meeting on Friday to discuss the court order.

Pakistani representatives, however, told the court Jadhav had confessed to having been sent by India "to wage terror on the innocent civilians and infrastructure of Pakistan".

Therefore the court was "satisfied there is an urgency in this case".
