Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are all holding talks with the representatives of Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to French radio station RMC.

The 22-year-old's form has attracted interest from the Premier League with the Mirror citing a report from Le10 Sport recently that suggested Manchester United were leading Chelsea in the race to sign the midfielder.

Well, Conte appears desperate to sign Bakayoko this summer if rumours are to be believed and if they can steal a march on other interested teams by offering Batshuayi to Monaco as part of the deal, then that is what the Italian boss must do.

But RMC reckon Conte will up his offer and instead lodge a £43m bid.

Transfer plans are set to become negotiations as the season winds down, and while Chelsea's immediate priority is to lock up new contracts for Conte, Hazard, and Courtois, there's plenty of benefit to acting quickly in the transfer market as well - especially for a coach like Conte who places great emphasis on players learning our system and way of football.

Jose Mourinho is gearing-up for a busy summer as he needs to strengthen his squad if he's to make United genuine title challengers again and Bakayoko could be viewed as the ideal long-term replacement for Michael Carrick.

The former Marseille forward arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer for £33m, but has had little impact on the Chelsea side which stormed to the title - although the 23-year-old did score the goal which won the club the title against West Brom last Friday.
