LawBreakers is Coming to PS4 as well as PC, Pricing Model Unveiled

In an interview with Boss Key Productions last week, Cliff Bleszinski and the team revealed that their upcoming hero shooter, LawBreakers, will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. "But they release the disc-based game and there's like some secret Illuminati that says it has to be $60 [~£45] day one.and we knew in our heart of hearts that if we could have this as a kind of impulse buy price point". Now, we've got those answers.

The PlayStation 4 version will launch simultaneously with the PC version later this year for $29.99. The game will also offer PS4 Pro support.

LawBreakers will be available on PS4, with further enhancements on PS4 Pro, developer Boss Key Productions today confirmed. The game is set to be a fast-paced multiplayer shooter where players can manipulate gravity to give them the advantage over the opponent. LawBreakers is set to feature "omni-directional gunplay with innovative movement systems and combat abilities".

Nexon America Inc.is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NEXON Co., Ltd. ("Nexon") (3659.TO) a worldwide leader in online games. Presumably that means there may be some special edition versions of the game in preparation. It will have a base price of $29.99/£24.99/€29.99 and offer free content updates in the future. Also, there are no "pay-to-win" mechanics in the game, just a robust offering of cosmetics for players to earn via the game's Stash-Box system. Qualified media and influencers are encouraged to book appointments to play the game on PS4™ and PC game as space will be limited. So if you have a ticket, count your lucky stars.
