The other victims include 18-year-old Georgina Callander, a student from Lancashire, and 26-year-old John Atkinson from Bury. Thankfully I have this wonderful family and awesome friends to keep each other strong.

Georgina Callander, who was studying health and social care at Runshaw College, was also killed in the attack.

His friend Russell Hayward said: "We got the news last night that our wonderful iconic and lovely Martyn didn't survive. John Atkinson you turned into an incredible young man so kind and thoughtful you will be missed by everyone".

Cheshire Police, the force she served with, confirmed her death on Wednesday but declined to provide further details.
