Gerrard: Liverpool Will Sign Top Talent this Summer

Steven Gerrard believes Liverpool can compete in the transfer market with Europe's big spenders because of the lure of manager Jurgen Klopp.

Thursday and Sunday matches can often be hard to navigate, but even though Liverpool may not be amongst the strong favourites with Bookmaker Ratings to win the competition, being back in the Champions League for the first time since 2015 is mission accomplished as far as Klopp and the players are concerned.

It's a rumour that is seemingly set to stick even over time, with Jurgen Klopp set to be forever linked with a reunion with the German global.

Gerrard played 45 minutes for Liverpool in a post-season friendly against Sydney on 24 May and extolled the virtues of Klopp as an excellent manager.
