Kathy Griffin FIRED over Donald Trump joke

Kathy Griffin is feeling the fallout after images of her holding a bloody replica of President Donald Trump's severed head were leaked Tuesday, and the comedian has been fired from her longtime New Year's Eve gig on CNN.

The network announced the termination after earlier criticizing the photos as "disgusting and offensive". "CNN has terminated our agreement with Kathy Griffin to appear on our New Year's Eve program", a network spokesperson told TheWrap in a statement.

The often controversial comedienne drew heavy criticism as soon as the image was released.

According to TMZ, Anderson Cooper is in complete shock of Griffin's actions.

Later Kathy also took to Twitter to apologise. This means she will not be hosting New Year's Eve for 2018 with Anderson Cooper.

Speaking of sons, Donald Jr. also responded to Griffin's picture, slamming her for the "phony" apology she released shortly after her post became viral. "She not only asked for forgiveness but begged for forgiveness, and I believe in forgiveness".

"It is never amusing to joke about killing a president".Those tweets have been deleted.Fortunately for Franken, the crowd at his July event will be mostly sympathetic to Griffin, seeing as how they will mostly be members of the entertainment industry who live a cloistered life in Beverly Hills.

"Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself", the president tweeted, adding that "My children, especially my 11-year-old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this".

As a mother, a wife, and a human being, that photo is very disturbing.
