"In my head, I was trying to get my hands to move or my legs to move", she said. "I remember wanting to pull up my dress and wanting to cover myself, but not being able to", Johnson said.

"I want to be the person that I would like to have if the tables were turned", she said.

Cosby, the 79-year-old comedian, is charged with sexually assaulting Constand in his home outside Philadelphia.

His reputation as America's favourite dad - from his years starring on The Cosby Show - has been shattered.

Cosby's legal team highlighted erroneous statements she made to police in 2005 when she first reported the incident, including that she had never been alone with Cosby before the alleged 2004 attack. Cosby's attorneys have said the pills he gave Constand were Benadryl and that their sexual activity was consensual. She described one incident where he tried to unzip her trousers prior to the alleged assault, but she says she rejected the pass and said to him, in her words, I'm not here for that. She asked if they were herbal or natural; he assured her the pills were "her friends". Her legs felt weak and her words were slurring. She wanted help from Cosby with her career, she had ulterior motives, she wanted a romantic relationship with this man 37 years her senior. She recalled Cosby assisted her to a couch, placed a pillow under her neck, and with her in a stupor because of the pills he fed her, began his assault.

After a series of phone calls, Constand, who was then in her 30s, said the married Cosby began inviting her to dinner at his house and other events.

Prosecutors said they had told the defense, but Cosby's lawyers all shook their head and mouthed, "We didn't know".

Some 60 women have come forward to say Cosby sexually violated them, all but destroying his nice-guy image, but the statute of limitations for prosecution had run out in almost every case. Only in Constand's case has Cosby been charged. She is one of the many women to claim sexual assault by the entertainer. She woke to him fondly her breasts and penetrating her with his fingers, she testified.

He gave her wine as well, she said.

Cosby took her to several dinners, including one in NY, to meet people.

Gripping the elbow of his publicist, Andrew Wyatt, Cosby smiled at times as he walked into the Montgomery County Courthouse. Cosby asked me for my personal cell phone number and I gave it to him", Constand told prosecutor Kristen Gibbons-Feden.

Gorilla gives birth with help from doctors who treat people
The mother and baby were reunited the following morning, and Kira was taken over mommy duty - cradling and nursing her son. Zookeepers cared for the newborn gorilla for approximately 24 hours while Kira recovered from the procedure.

Asked why she'd remained silent about the abuse - many months passed before she told her parents about it, during which time she pretended to her family that things were fine between herself and her famous mentor - Constand replied: "It was a very big burden on me".

"I trusted him", Constand testified.

Andrea Constand walks from the courtroom after testifying at Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial at the Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown, Pa., Tuesday, June 6, 2017. And she said she was really concerned. Neither side is allowed to mention Constand's 2005 lawsuit against Cosby or the settlement they struck the following year, but the defense clearly wanted the jury to think Constand was looking for a payday. I was frozen, and those messages didn't get there. Several said they take satisfaction in the damage that already has been done to Cosby's reputation, which they viewed as his lifeblood. "So I just went along with them".

Los Angeles lawyer Angela Agrusa has spent a painstaking hour going over Andrea Constand's old phone records.

Constand will be back on the stand Wednesday as the trial enters its third day.

Constand's cross-examination will continue when court resumes Wednesday.

Constand is among more than 50 women who have accused Cosby of sexual assaults dating to the 1960s. The witness had told police that before the alleged assault, there had been no sexual contact between her and Cosby.

On Tuesday, Johnson's mother, Pattrice Sewell, bolstered her daughter's story. She said on Tuesday that the calls mostly involved the team and that she felt her continued friendship with Cosby was important to the athletic department.

Johnson, a former assistant at the William Morris talent agency, testified Monday that in 1996 Cosby pressured her to take a pill that left her largely incapacitated.
