Cavaliers vs. Warriors, Game 3

And if the Warriors are what they think they could be, which is the best playoff team in National Basketball Association history, then how could we hold it against anyone if they lost to the most absurd accumulation of talent that the National Basketball Association has ever seen?

The Golden State Warriors are warming up for Game 3 of the NBA Finals in Cleveland Wednesday night. Winning the championship is the only history on their minds as Game 3 Wednesday nears.

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving couldn't be stopped.

"We literally have never once mentioned 16-0".

"To me it's a miracle that it's even a possibility". It's so hard to do.

Last year, the Cavaliers were also down 2-0 in the finals and were hearing numerous same talks about not being able to come back. "That's the important lesson, not any historical benchmarks or anything like that".

If not for their meltdown previous year, the Warriors, whose record-setting 73-win season got lost in the Finals aftermath, would be looking for a third straight crown. "But when you're the one making the run, you could definitely feel the other team looking for answers and being deflated as the game goes on". But they fell apart in the Finals for various reasons. Draymond has been limited due to foul trouble and Klay Thompson has only shot well in one game. There are rumblings that he is not 100 percent (his knees are reportedly bothering him), and that may well be true, but you can ask Curry if there is any sympathy for that as an excuse in the Finals.

"I think it was the nature with which they won that game, the force that they brought", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said.

"Do I look exhausted?" The championship is history.

"If you have full fulfillment in what you did, then it's not really, "we would have done this and we would have done that". We have a better handle on how you have to approach things. They went to a smaller lineup that contributed to Golden State committing 20 turnovers a game after tying a Finals record with four.

He's just going up against a better team.

Google Maps still shows Margaret Court Arena if you search the original name or for nearby venues such as Rod Laver Arena. Instead, the stadium has been renamed after another famed Australian great, Evonne Gollagong Arena.

Metropolitan police, however, indicated in their statement that Zaghba was not a "subject of interest" before the attack. A 27-year-old man was arrested in Barking on Tuesday, while 12 people arrested earlier were released without charge.

The timing could also be aimed at blunting the impact of Comey's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday. Though favored by Trump, Lieberman would have faced a challenging confirmation process; he pulled his name from consideration.

Said James: "They made some shots and we didn't". The Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers out to break a 1-1 title standoff. "We all have to play better and we will". Yet he's a minus-33.

James has three National Basketball Association titles and four league MVPs to his name, while Durant was the MVP in 2014, but has yet to win a championship.

In order for the Cavs to win, Reiter added, Lue has to be willing to scrap the gameplan he's been using all year and make drastic adjustments when necessary.

The reigning champion Cavaliers dropped just a single game on their way through the eastern conference playoffs prior to the NBA Finals.

NOTES: LeBron James passed Sam Jones (1,143 points), Bill Russell (1,151 points), and Elgin Baylor (1,161 points) for fourth place on the Finals all-time scoring list in the first half. The Cavs would then need four straight victories against a Golden State team that has won 29 of its past 30 games. He says the Cavs are down, but the series isn't over.

The Golden State Warriors will be at Quicken Loans Arena tonight for Game 3 of the 2017 NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Both teams are different.

They embraced the chase past year but said Tuesday that they're not thinking at all about 16-0. He said he doesn't remember how he felt. There had to be some pretty great teams during that span.

Kerr said neither Curry nor Durant are ball-dominant players, which served them both well once they started playing on the same team.

They're just not good enough to beat what may be one of the NBA's best teams ever.

Prior to the Warriors 2017 run, the 1983 Philadelphia 76ers were one of the few National Basketball Association teams that came closest to perfection. Not this time. Irving erupted for 16 points in the period and the Cavs forged a 94-89 lead by period's end.

"Game 3 has been rough for us historically, and especially in this building", Curry said.
