Apple has even updated the 13 inch MacBook Air with a 1.8 GHz processor.

Apple still claims a 10-hour battery run, as with its previous iterations.

Radeon Pro 500 series graphics harness up to 5.5 TFLOPS of performance, unleashing the creativity of artists, designers, photographers, filmmakers, visualizers and engineers, and aspiring creative types across high-resolution canvases in the most popular creative applications, powering through the most demanding games, and bringing fantastic worlds to life in VR. The MacBook Pro is roughly as heavy as the 13-inch MacBook Air, but it's still more expensive. Meanwhile, the 15-inch version, though considerably larger, is still thin at 0.61 inches (1.55cm) and fairly light for its size at 4.02 pounds (1.83 kg).

"With the revolutionary Touch Bar with Touch ID, gorgeous 500-nit Retina display, Thunderbolt 3 and incredible performance in a portable design, MacBook Pro is the best pro notebook Apple has ever made", the tech giant said. It is also capable of Thunderbolt 3 connection.

However, we are yet to know the Indian pricing and availability, as of now. Now the company is trying to make up for their misstep with the MacPro desktop by introducing the iMac Pro. This is just one of the reasons why the MacBook Air is still loved, and users refuse to wave goodbye to the device.

The MacBook Air is far from being exterminated. You should not expect a retina display or more storage or RAM.

Instead of killing the MacBook Air altogether, Apple is keeping it around as it still sells fine.

Together with Apple's other products, which are getting an upgrade, it looks like the MacBook Air is also receiving a better CPU.
