Sexual assault charges have been brought against three Michigan State football players and arrest warrants signed for all three after they were accused of sexually assaulting a woman on campus on January 16. Two others, defensive back Drake Martinez and cornerback/wide receiver Kaleel Gaines, also transferred out. King was charged with first- and third-degree sexual assault while Corley and Vance were both charged with third-degree sexual assault.

The alleged incident eventually led to sexual assault charges against King, Corley and Vance, authorized by Judge Richard Ball Tuesday from East Lansing's 54-B District Court.

It would appear we now know who that unnamed player was.

The Ingham County Prosecutor's Office was presented with evidence of suspected sexual assault, from a January 16 incident on the campus of Michigan State University.

It is alleged that King first told the woman he wanted to talk "somewhere quiet", before pulling her into a bathroom.

The search also produced a video on King's cell phone of him having sex with the alleged victim in the bathroom, which the woman said she did not consent to being recorded and had no idea the recording was taking place.

All three players were part of the no. 17 ranked recruiting class for Michigan State in 2016.

Dantonio has stressed the seriousness of the ongoing legal issue involving players from his football program and wasted little time in dismissing the players after the warrants were issued.

Jim Dunlap, chief of the Michigan State police department, said his officers had spent more than 1,500 hours on the investigation and had conducted more than 100 interviews, according to the Free Press.

"I have chose to authorize sexual assault charges against the three persons whose warrants were requested by the MSU Police", Ingham County Prosecutor Carol Siemon said in a Monday statement.

Corley says he is innocent, his attorney, John Shea, said in an emailed statement.

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio released a statement confirming the dismissal of Corley, King and Vance from the football team.

Robertson, along with King, Vance and Corley, have preliminary examination hearings scheduled for June 22.

Dantonio reportedly then stopped the player so he could immediately contact MSU's Office of Institutional Equity (OIE), which is school policy on how employees should handle situations which could violate the university's relationship violence and sexual misconduct policy. "I'm angry", he said at a news conference.

Blackwell was previously given one-month contract extensions on his deal to extend him through the month of May. Four members of that class have now been dismissed for sexual assault. After review, I have declined to issue charges and no warrant will be issued.

The staffer, Curtis Blackwell, will not be charged, Siemon said.
