Bill Cosby's lawyers continued their cross-examination Wednesday of accuser Andrea Constand, claiming Constand gave conflicting dates about when Cosby's alleged assault of her occurred.

Constand has said she felt her friendship with Cosby, now 79, was important to the school's athletics department, where she managed the women's basketball team while he was a high-profile trustee.

Constand said she "never got hold of my phone records" before speaking to police.

Constand, 44, left the witness stand after some seven hours of testimony over two days, during which she told the jury that Cosby gave her three blue pills and then violated her with his fingers as she lay paralyzed on a couch, unable to tell him to stop.

"I began to slur my words and I told Mr. Cosby that I had trouble seeing him and I was seeing two of him", she testified of the effects of the pills Cosby told her were supplements.

"In my head, I was trying to get my hands to move or my legs to move, but I was frozen", Constand said.

Constand: "I wanted it to stop". Bill Cosby's trial for sexual assault opened June 5, 2017 in Pennsylvania with tearful testimony from one of his alleged accusers as prosecutors painted the megastar turned pariah as a sexual predator who established trust with younger women before incapacitating them with drugs and wine.

But Constand's allegations are the only ones to have been brought against him in a criminal case so far.

He gave her wine as well, she said. If Cosby is found guilty, he could spend at least 10 years in prison.

Meanwhile, actress Lili Bernard, who is known for her appearance in The Cosby Show, spoke to the reporters after the court adjourned for the day.

Gianna Constand says she bought a phone recorder in hopes of catching Cosby confessing to harming her daughter at his suburban Philadelphia home. Also, Cosby's admission to police that Constand consented to their sexual encounter could be troublesome for him given that Constand is gay.

It may not have been a Game 7, but Monday night's Game 5 was a fitting conclusion to end the Warriors-Cavaliers trilogy. He chose Curry, Draymond Green , Klay Thompson and a chance at his first championship over returning to Oklahoma City.

But they were delivered a prime chance to vanquish that loss - and the 3-1 ghosts that haunted them - at home in Game 5. Durant had two driving layups in the first quarter and Curry had a couple himself.

Constand said she first met Cosby in late 2002 at a women's basketball game at Temple University in Philadelphia, after being introduced by a donor.

"I don't know what that means", Constand said.

After the incident, Constand acknowledged under questioning from both sides that she maintained contact with Cosby but said she felt obligated to do so because of her job.

On Tuesday, Constand had said, "I trusted him", adding, "I wasn't scared if something became a pass at me or became an advance at me".

Constand is one of around 60 women who have accused Cosby of sexually violating them but the prosecution has gone ahead on just Constand's allegations due to the statute of limitations passing for almost every other of those claims.

Cosby has been accused of assault by dozens of women, but the charges in this trial deal exclusively with Constand's accusations.

Cosby lawyer Angela Agrusa lashed into Constand on cross-examination.

She told the court she felt "really humiliated" after the alleged attack.

In his opening statement, Cosby's defense attorney, Brian McMonagle, said, "Sexual assault is a bad crime". Johnson and Constand are two of over sixty women who have accused Cosby of similar crimes. "Of course she was calling him back".

Ms Constand says Mr Cosby drugged and molested her after she visited his home seeking career advice in 2004. In that phone call, Cosby asked the mother to get Andrea on the phone and explain what happened because "he wasn't going to tell the truth", Gianna Constand said.
