Draymond Green stays in Game 4 after confusing officiating blunder

It has to be even more frustrating to be almost ejected without even knowing about it.

"It shows me how important I am to them", he said after the game. It's a humiliating night for the National Basketball Association. He chose Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and a chance at his first championship over returning to Oklahoma City.

Draymond Green was almost tossed out of Game 4 of the NBA Finals for the second year in a row. Let's see what's about to happen.

The Golden State Warriors earned their second National Basketball Association title in three years with a 129 to 120 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Oakland Monday night, led by All-Star forward Kevin Durant's 39 points and strong bench scoring. He dramatically drove and dunked on Cleveland's defense, knocked down big 3-pointers and blocked shots while handling the load of defending King James. But, they got their redemption.

The Warriors were back in form Monday, with Durant scoring a Finals career-high 39 points, seven rebounds and five assists. For a player that's been working to avoid another suspension, it has to be frustrating to receive techs with little explanation. West scored all of 21 points in the series, but four of them (his only four points in the clincher) came during this crucial stretch, as did two of his 10 rebounds.

Late in Game 4 previous year, Green swiped at LeBron James' groin and was subsequently given a flagrant foul. "I had a letdown last year but like I told everybody, if Kevin Durant was the consolation prize to lose, thanks for that loss and we're the champs this year".

"Last year is last year, this year is this year", Kerr echoed.

On Monday, Golden State used a 27-4 second-quarter run to take charge - just after it appeared Durant should have been called for a third foul on a basket by James - and got to celebrate right at home in Oakland surrounded by a deafening home crowd waving yellow rally towels and holding up phones to shoot video and photos as the final minute of the clock ticked away. While Draymond's mom may believe that the refs were determined to do all they could make the series go back to Golden State, the Warriors were the ones who held the slight edge in free attempts, 36-31.

It didn't matter in the end, at least not this time. Shumpert will receive an Emmy Award in the mail for getting a call by making it seem Steph Curry grabbed him in transition.

Two playful superstars who found a way to coexist through all the questions and constant scrutiny, together and smiling as champions. Golden State in 2015, the Cavaliers a year ago, the Warriors again this time.

Sometimes lost in all the chatter about a possible Warriors' dynasty is the fact that Golden State plays attractive, often unselfish team ball.
