Original Xbox Games Will Be Playable on the Xbox One X: The Xbox One already has backwards compatibility with a large collection of Xbox 360 games, but Microsoft went back another generation at this E3, announcing that it'll roll out support for some original Xbox games too.

The Xbox One X represents the most powerful console ever created, according to Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox. More precise tech specs, as in what type of HDR was supported, weren't made available. It's launching on November 7 for $499. Developed by BioWare, the title is supposed to be a narrative compelling co-operative game, but it hasn't really distinguished itself from shooters like Destiny except for one important thing: it has jetpacks.

You get a 1TB HDD packed in the One X console, which can be used to install games, download DLC, store your movies and so on. In terms of specifications, Microsoft's new Xbox One X comes with 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD Internal storage coupled with 12 GB of GDDR5 at 326 GB/s.

Glencore trumps Yancoal in $US2.55 billion bid for Rio's Hunter assets
On face value the offer appears to be superior to the $US920 million that Glencore revealed it had offered Mitsubishi on Saturday. Coal demand fell most in the US and China, with declines of 13 per cent and 1.5 per cent respectively.

While the older One S was capable of HD gaming and streaming 4K resolution video (or playing 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays), the new One X can actually play games in full 4K resolution too. But inside, if you've got a 4K TV, you should be very, very interested. It was conveniently seated next to an Xbox One S, which meant you could easily see how it was more compact than its sibling. If you enjoy Minecraft, Rocket League and a handful of other titles that aren't known for their graphical prowess, then the current Xbox is a better fit.

Microsoft and its partners have new Xbox One X Enhanced games coming. By November 7th, Xbox One X owners will get an update that allows the title to use a 4K TV to its fully potential.

Microsoft announced big plans to expand their backward compatibility program to include original Xbox games. It showed off Forza Motorsport 7, running at native 4K and 60fps, on the Xbox One X for instance, alongside the global reveal of games like Assassin's Creed Origins, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Dragonball Fighter Z, State of Decay 2 and more. If that's one of your main interests and concerns with the Xbox, you don't need an X.
