Microsoft is using the same controller like the Xbox One S. The controllers had received a minor upgrade past year.

Its technical specifications had been announced in April 2017, making it clear that the Xbox One X would outdo the PlayStation 4 Pro, its nearest console rival, in terms of raw power.

Sony 's PS4 Pro console with 4K capabilities that released in November of previous year, with memory 8 gigabytes and processor speed of 4.12 lower than Xbox One X that boasts 12 gigabytes of RAM and 6 teraflops of graphics processing power, and capable of supporting virtual reality gaming which it was not mentioned of using VR headsets.

Microsoft hinted at a series of 4K exclusives, including "Forza Motorsport 7", "Crackdown 3" and "Super Lucky's Tale". We'll have to wait for the Xbox One X to make it to consumers' hands and see how it's received by the gaming community to determine the actual victor. It has 85 built-in games, such as "Mortal Kombat", but includes a cartridge port that works with most original Sega Genesis and Mega Drive original cartridges.

Which actually isn't that much more than the Xbox One cost on launch, though it has since had substantial price cuts since. IHS Markit analyst Piers Harding-Rolls doesn't expect price to have an impact for Microsoft's target audience.

Microsoft announces Xbox One X
It wasn't an option with the Xbox One but with the help of some additional hardware it was possible with the PlayStation 4. While it can power any games meant for the Xbox One and Xbox One S, the Xbox One X can also power true 4K gaming.

Microsoft has designed a a custom Scorpio GPU for the machine, running at an impressive 1172MHz, outperforming its competitors. Phil Spencer said that there will be 22 games included in the Xbox One X launch. Sony's PlayStation has a huge library of exclusive titles.

In yet another nod to the fans, Microsoft last night announced that it will bring original generation Xbox game titles to Xbox One Backward Compatibility. However, the latter is a game that was reviewed as more of an unremarkable platform than anything else. The One X weighs 8.4 pounds, which makes it significantly heavier than the Xbox One S (6.4 pounds). It allows gamers to capture 4K videos at 60 frames per second (fps). That said, the real appeal of the console is its high-octane internal specs that have earned it the title of being the most powerful on the planet right now.

For those wondering, I still don't like the Nintendo Switch and I still think it's overpriced and balanced awkwardly between home and portable (just look at Federation Internationale de Football Association 18 and its weird, old, TV-unfriendly engine).

It can play 4K ultra-HD Blu-ray discs, unlike the PS4 Pro, but while it can support VR gaming there was practically no mention of Virtual Reality during Microsoft's presentation. He expects the Xbox One X to meet a similar fate. Microsoft just made that decision more confusing.

Some Xbox fans might be disappointed that the Xbox One X has the same old design as its predecessor. Even without the "Enhanced" sticker on the box, Microsoft says a game should perform a lot better on the latest hardware. That is not all as there also is the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds that again will be exclusive to the console.
