Three suspects have been arrested last Friday for killing two #Maryland teens the night before their graduation.

Shadi Adi Najjar, 17, and Artem Ziberov, 18, were found shot dead the night of June 5 in a parked auto on a residential street in Montgomery Village, about 23 miles north of Washington, D.C., police said.

Hours before their graduation, Shadi Adi Najjar and Artem Ziberov were fatally shot.

But a 911 caller reported hearing shots fired in Montgomery Village on Monday night, and officers found the two dead with gunshot wounds in a parked vehicle. In their search for evidence, the police have recovered shell casings at the residence of Edgar Garcia-Gaona.

Police have arrested Jose Canales-Yanez, 25 (left), Roger Garcia, 19 (center), and Edgar Garcia-Gaona, 24 (right), in connection with the boys' deaths. At least two gunmen, believed to be in another auto, fired some 30 rounds at the vehicles.

"It's believed that this is the robbery that Najjar was rumored to have participated in", Manger said. I'm sure the police will find who killed my boy, ' Najjar's father said on June 6, while holding his son's cap and gown. Authorities tied that rumor to a December 14 police report in which Canales-Yanez's then-girlfriend - believed to now be his wife - alleged someone in a blue Honda Civic had grabbed her iPad and dragged her about 50 feet with the vehicle.

He said an informant identified the three suspects to investigators.

He added that a partial box of Glaser.40-caliber ammunition was found at Garcia-Gaona's house. Before starting the ceremony, Principal Jimmy D'Andrea asked for a moment of silence to offer condolences to the family of the two victims.

Despite the weekend arrests, Manger stressed the investigation was not finished - urging members of the public to come forward with any additional information relating to the case.

At graduation, D'Andrea said all those attending had heavy hearts, but Najjar and Ziberov "would want us to move forward today and celebrate".
