Angry Trump decries witch hunt against him

Robert Mueller III is looking into Kushner's post-election meetings with Sergey Kislyak, the Russian ambassador to the United States, and Sergey Gorkov, who is in charge of the Russian state-owned bank Vnesheconombank, according to a report by The Washington Post.

The president wrote on Twitter Friday: "I am being investigated for firing the FBI Director by the man who told me to fire the FBI Director! Witch Hunt", Trump said in a tweet.

The morning missive appeared to refer to Rod Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general.

If Trump's goal is to limit Mueller's probe or force him out, Republican Senator John McCain of Arizona said this week, "that would be disastrous for him". Patrick Leahy (D-VT), ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, that said, in part, "it should be obvious to everyone that this is a political favor from President Trump to a few influential members of congress who have never set foot in Cuba and who represent a tiny minority of the American people".

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee said Sunday that the president is working to discredit and "take down" special counsel Bob Mueller, just as Mueller's probe is beginning.

If you have someone's loyalty or respect, you have it because you earned it. Trump has not done anything so far that has earned him loyalty or respect. The President's Twitter trail suggests that firing Mr. Mueller could soon be on the solicitor general's new agenda. "Nice", Trump wrote in his first tweet.

Vehicle hits people near London mosque, causing casualties
On June 3, three men drove a van into pedestrians on London Bridge , before launching a knife attack in nearby Borough Market. The council clarified that the incident took place outside the Muslim Welfare House , 300 meters away from the mosque.

On CNN's "State of the Union" program, he said flatly, "The president is not a subject or target of an investigation".

The new tweets are the latest in a week of angry social media responses from the president over a report by the Washington Post that Mr Mueller was looking into whether Mr Trump obstructed justice. The warning came seemingly out of nowhere, and did not gesture toward any report in particular. Americans should be skeptical about anonymous allegations. Brand - who also enjoys an excellent reputation, like Rosenstein - is who he allegedly talked to about recusal. The official demanded anonymity because the official was not authorized to be named discussing the deliberations. Firing Comey for not personally investigating you seems to have been a bad call. What is clear is that he could order the Justice Department to ax Mueller, which may result in Rosenstein's departure and would certainly intensify the uproar over the investigation. The White House initially said that was the main reason for the Federal Bureau of Investigation director's dismissal.

"There has been no notification from the special counsel's office that the president is under investigation".

"After reading Mr. Comey's earlier statement, I tweeted about this Wednesday night, and immediately heard from other women who had seen that narrative emerge". Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller on May 17 as special counsel to head the inquiry into the Russian Federation matter.

The memos direct former staffers to prevent the automatic deletion of any records and former Trump transition officials are asked to send in materials to the Trump transition team. They are Paul Manafort, Trump's former campaign manager; Rick Gates, Manafort's business partner; Carter Page, a former foreign policy adviser; Flynn; and Roger J. Stone Jr., an informal adviser to Mr. Trump.

The White House has directed questions to outside legal counsel, which has not responded.
