India may be ahead against Pakistan in ICC tournaments by an 8-2 margin, but in all ODI tournament finals Pakistan holds a 6-2 edge in the head-to-head battle against India.

Revelation and redemption helped Pakistan turn world cricket's order upside down as Fakhar Zaman's maiden one-day worldwide century and Mohammad Amir's brilliant new-ball spell underpinned a landslide 180-run win over India in the Champions Trophy final.

"Bhuvneshwar and Bumrah are bowling very well and the batting order is also taken care of by Rohit, Dhawan and Kohli", said a cricket fan.

If India manage to clinch the victory at the Oval today, they will become the first team to win the Trophy three times and join Australia as the second team to defend the title.

"India is playing well".

After India had won the toss, Fakhar, on three, was caught by wicketkeeper Mahehdra Singh Dhoni off a Jasprit Bumrah no-ball and the 27-year-old left-hander took full advantage to make his first global century. India opener Shikhar Dhawan is the tournament's leading run scorer with 317 runs in four matches and will look to continue his momentum against Pakistan.

Andre Ward Stops Sergey Kovalev in Eighth to Retain Light Heavyweight Titles
He continued: "With all the excuse making and all the things he's been saying since the last fight, those are some deeper issues". Bivol isn't ready to call out Kovalev , WBC champion Adonis Stevenson and Ward , who has the WBA, IBF and WBO titles.

"It will be a good match because even Pakistan is in good form". According to data by BARC cited in an Economic Times report, the Champions Trophy one day global (ODI) match played between India and Pakistan on June 4, reached over 20 crore people.

"I am sure Pakistan will get additional inspiration and motivation from its past successes in this event and will aim to extend its run come Sunday." the 42-year-old said.

Speaking on the eve of the encounter which is expected to draw in 300 million television viewers in India alone, Kohli remained wary of his side's status as favourites in the match.

It was then over to Amir, who quickly dispelled the predictions of many that India could pull off a tournament and ground-record run chase - in the process silencing the majority support in a sell-out crowd for this high-profile showdown as their team folded to 158 all out in 30.3 overs.

Pakistan, on the other hand, have also lived up to their "unpredictable" standards, with their comprehensive wins over South Africa and Sri Lanka after the first game debacle against Kohli and Co. My wishes are with Virat Kohli and his team.
