Newt Gingrich, the confidante to President Trump who as House Speaker in the 1990s voted to impeach Bill Clinton for obstruction of justice, said Friday that the "President can not obstruct justice". It could be that Comey's ouster was corrupt in some other way: Maybe Trump didn't want Comey to find some unpleasant dealings unrelated the Russian Federation investigation. Let's not forget the fact that Newt is hoping his wife receives an ambassadorship from Trump. "The rules of justice are very simple. They're talking about obstruction", Gingrich added.

Every effort to discredit Mueller, from Fox News Channel to quasi-fascist social media, only underscores the right's desperation and fear - and sharpens the growing suspicion of Trump's guilt.

The conversation started when Jedediah Bila asked Gingrich, "Are people frustrated with him, are they disappointed with him?"

The former Speaker went on to refer to then-Deputy Attorney General James Comey appointing U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald to investigate the unauthorized disclosure of the identity of a Central Intelligence Agency employee. Do you believe that Obama wiretapped Trump? . Isn't that why Trump considered reappointing Mueller as Federal Bureau of Investigation director?

Mueller has served as a U.S. Attorney, a U.S. Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division, and as Acting-Deputing Attorney General.

Where was President Obama born? If a Democratic judicial panel had appointed a series of Democratic prosecutors, the Republicans would still be screaming two decades later.

Trump is understandably ticked, he said.
