Birmingham City are waiting to hear from John Terry after making the former Chelsea captain an offer to join the club, according to the Birmingham Mail.

The former England captain played 717 times for the West London outfit, and went on to win five Premier League titles, five FA Cup crowns, and indeed the Champions League in 2012, with his final piece of major silverware of course their league triumph under Antonio Conte last term.

Redknapp confirmed that Aberdeen, Dundee and Motherwell have all made approaches for the player, while a number of others are also keen.

A leader like Terry could be just what Steve Bruce's men need in their quest to get back to English football's top tier after a year out of the Premier League.
