The 32-year-old former Manchester United winger is reportedly angry at his treatment by Spanish tax authorities and wishes to leave the country, according to the front page of Portuguese daily A Bola yesterday.

"Ronaldo has United in his heart".

Losing Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo would be "an irreparable loss" for La Liga, according to the division's president Javier Tebas.

Spanish prosecutors have filed a lawsuit against the player accusing him of defrauding tax authorities of €14.7 million (S$22.7 million) by hiding his image rights income between 2011 and 2014.

Both Bayern Munich and PSG are ready to meet the asking price of Real Madrid, but it's Manchester United who have the upper hand due to their "cash+player" bid.

A source claims Ronaldo "feels great indignation" with all the conjecture about his tax affairs and a sense of "injustice" at the allegations - which he contests - and has made a decision to leave Spain.

Former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl Dies
Kohl took power in 1982, leading West Germany into a new era which would result in the reunification of East and West Germany. Kohl refused to identify the donors, to whom he said he had given his word. " Helmut Kohl visited India in 1986 and 1993".

Paris-Saint Germain, AC Milan under new ownership and China appear to be the only financially realistic destinations for the Portugal worldwide but a return to England representing the Red Devils is apparently the priority, so we'll just have to wait and see how this one pans out over the course of the transfer window.

Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Ronaldo has asked agent Jorge Mendes to do "everything" to secure a return to United should he leave Madrid ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

"It is a dream, for many years I had imagined playing with Cristiano, so I am happy to play with him", he said. They were in talks with Manchester United last month but dropped the interest because of the fee demanded by Red Devils.

Manchester City have also been linked with the signature of Ronaldo, but given his love and respect for Manchester United, it is hard to see the the once Reds moving to wear the Blues.

Inevitably, Ronaldo has been linked with a return to Manchester United - a club he has never hidden his affection for since departing in 2009.
