Sky Sports reporter Solhekol tweeted: "Cristiano Ronaldo interested in the possibility of returning to Manchester United this summer".

For all the words written and spoken about the four-time Champions League victor, the only people who really know are Ronaldo himself and long-time adviser Jorge Mendes.

Rumours of his impending exit sparked a bidding war among European giants with United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich scrambling for his signature.

The forward had helped United win three Premier League titles and the Champions League in his six years at the club, and had also won the Ballon d'Or. "I don't have any solution but Cristiano, like everyone else, has a contract and is a Real Madrid player", Perez told radio station Onda Cero on Monday after earning a third consecutive mandate at Real.

In an interview after being re-elected as the club's president, Perez said that neither has he received an offer for the Portugal captain nor has he received it for any other player.

The episode may cost Real Madrid their star winger as Ronaldo feels hard done by the apparent excessive force with which the complaint has been dealt with.

The move backfired; May lost her Conservative majority in the vote and has been fending off critics of her leadership ever since. Davis said the talks were off to a "promising start" and denied that Britain had caved in on the sequencing of the talks.

Theresa May: support for Grenfell fire victims was 'not good enough'
Condoling the incident earlier, Londor Mayor Sadiq Khan said, "The bad news, I'm afraid, is lots of people died in the fire ". A £5 million ($8.79m) fund has been set up for emergency supplies, food and clothing.

And Zidane, speaking to Ronaldo, now with Portugal for the Confederations Cup, reportedly said: "We are a team that wins because of you".

"We think these players are all good after a great season. No one had told us anything and we are delighted with him". Perez has revealed it was "two minutes late", but they have not made an attempt to sign him since, despite having an option to sign him again last summer.

'There is no tax evasion scheme, ' his management company said in a statement.

There are many similarities with Leo Messi's recent tax fraud case in which the Barcelona star avoided a prison term but paid a hefty sum to the Spanish authorities.

"Wish and your dreams will come true", might work in a flawless world, but Ronaldo will know just because he wants to go back to Manchester United, his former club, it doesn't mean he will be able to. I will talk with him when the Confederations Cup has finished. Right now he is a Madrid player.
