As expected, we've been blessed with pure brilliance - in fact over 13 minutes of it! Of course, James completely nailed it, wowing Ed (and us) with his flawless rapping skills. Ed actually managed to break his record and fit 55 in his mouth, while James only pulled off 26.

The rest of the episode runs as you might expect, full of awesome harmonies between James and Ed, and many wonderful British accents.

Towards the start of his career, Ed showed off his ability to fit a huge amount of Maltesers, small spherical balls of malt honeycomb covered in milk chocolate, in his mouth.

Now, on to the best part, Sheeran proceeded to recount a certain tale of a drunken adventure with Justin Bieber that he had in Tokyo.

The singer added: "But instantly, bringing out a guitar it's a lot more comfortable". The guys then talked about Sheeran's love of dive bars, and love of introducing people to said dive bars.

Grenfell Tower - never again
Footage from inside the gutted building has been released, showing the extent of the damage. Since their block was evacuated she had slept in several places, including her vehicle .

"I don't know how you've done that", James laughed.

Although a boozy Ed willed himself to concentrate on hitting the object out of Bieber's mouth and not his angelic face, he failed miserably and "cracked" Justin across the face.

Finally, Corden performed a traffic-themed rendition of Sheeran's "Castle on the Hill", joking with the songwriter that it was the ideal song for getting behind the wheel. Everybody now..."I'm on my way, stuck in some traffic in downtown LA..."

In between songs Sheeran confirmed he still does not have a phone after he announced he was quitting social media and taking a gap year in December 2015.
