On June 15, US officials familiar with the DOJ probe disclosed that special counsel Robert Mueller was investigating Kushner's business dealings, The Washington Post reports.

Mueller and his team are also looking at the financial activities of Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, and Carter Page, according to the Washington Post.

'We do not know what this report refers to, ' Jamie Gorelick said.

Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating the Russian Federation investigation and President Trump, has added 13 lawyers as part of a high-powered team to help with the wide-ranging probe. Gorelick pointed out that Kushner has volunteered to speak with the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is leading one of the congressional Russian Federation investigations. "He will do the same if he is contacted in connection with any other inquiry".

The media claimed on Wednesday that the special prosecutor has expanded the investigation to determine whether Trump attempted to obstruct justice.

The White House confirmed on Thursday that Mueller was interviewed - presumably about again running the Federal Bureau of Investigation - the day before he was named as special counsel to investigate Russian meddling in last year's presidential election.

Florentino Perez 'hasn't spoken' to Ronaldo about exit rumours
Ronaldo spent six seasons at Old Trafford before he left to join Real Madrid in the summer of 2009. When quizzed on Mbappe, Perez added: "We know that his dream is to play for Real Madrid ".

The meeting occurred as Kushner's company was seeking financing for its troubled $1.8 billion purchase of an office building in NY.

It has become clear that President Trump believes that he has the power to fire anyone in government he chooses and for any reason, including Special Counsel Robert Mueller. A Reuters report said the meeting could have concerned lifting U.S. sanctions against Russian Federation. The report also noted such an encounter between the two men is likely to raise questions about whether Kushner's personal financial interests collided with his upcoming role in the Trump administration.

Coats met behind closed doors for more than three hours Thursday with the Senate intelligence committee, which is conducting a separate investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Mueller, a former FBI Director appointed by George W. Bush, was hired to lead the investigation by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on May 17.

A close Trump associate said this week the president was considering firing Mueller, although the White House later denied it. "The Special Counsel's Office will be able to move forward on investigative steps already taken".
