Newly reelected Real Madrid boss will try to tackle Ronaldo problem

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has been summoned by the Spanish authorities as part of the investigation into his tax affairs.

"I will always defend Cristiano as a footballer and as a person".

IBTimes UK earlier revealed that Ronaldo wants to leave Real and he has already informed the club of his decision.

"I have not spoken with Ronaldo".

Real Madrid No.10 James Rodriguez has also been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent weeks, with United also linked with a move for the Colombian attacking star, but Perez was also dismissive of those stories.

Perez, though, has insisted that the club are "relaxed" about the situation and have no intention of letting Ronaldo go.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are both said to be vying for his signature, but Perez came out fighting when quizzed on the subject.
