Reports linking Champions League victor Cristiano Ronaldo with a possible move to Bayern Munich if the Portuguese made a decision to leave Real Madrid were a hoax, the German champions said on Monday. Asked about potential clubs Ronaldo could join, Perez said: "I'm not contemplating Cristiano leaving".

Reports of a rejected €60million bid from United seem wide of the mark, though, according to Madrid president Perez, who remains keen to keep Morata in the Spanish capital.

Madrid's long-time president said the club had not received any transfer offers for Ronaldo.

Portuguese sports daily A Bola had also claimed that Perez had already been informed of the 32-year-old's decision.

Benfica defender Victor Lindelof is the only arrival to date and a new number nine is a priority in the wake of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's serious knee ligament injury, with Everton's Romelu Lukaku and Torino's Andrea Belotti others linked.

"But something really freakish would have to happen if he were to leave this club". "The truth is that we have great goalkeepers".
