Lalu said Tejashwi has already told his critics that he would explain everything to the people in the run-up to the August 27 rally in Patna in which top leaders of all the non-NDA parties would participate. Senior leaders in the party maintain that if he alone resigns, it will send a wrong signal, nearly of accepting the crime and bending to the JD (U)'s whims. Meanwhile, Congress president Sonia Gandhi is in touch with both Lalu and Nitish to convince them not to take any extreme step, which could adversely affect the ruling alliance in Bihar.Sources said Bihar Congress president and education minister Ashok Choudhary also met Ni. The organizers had neatly placed Tejashwi's nameplate at the event next to Nitish Kumar, but Tejashwi skipped the event entirely.

Sonia Gandhi spoke to Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and requested them not to do anything that would break the Mahagatbandhan.

This was seen as an attempt by the chief minister to maintain a distance with the RJD minister.

Ignoring the obvious optic disaster that unfortunately did not go unnoticed by the media-men, the Chief Minister went on with his speech praising his own Labor Resource Department for helping his attain his goal of "Seven Resolves" a reality.

Win a Game of Thrones Box Set
Martin is working on a ton of TV projects with HBO while still completing his " Game of Thrones " novels. This is the first time since 2011 that " Game of Thrones " is not among the year's Emmy contenders.

Reacting sharply to it, JDU party is now asking Lalu Prasad Yadav to give up his stand as this may lead to destruction in future. "No matter what comes, RJD would not allow the grand alliance government to fall", he added. "Lalu Prasad has become old", he said in a clear reference to the RJD chief declaring that his younger son Tejashwi Yadav would not resign and that the "Mahagathbandhan is intact". "We will protect the grand alliance in Bihar".

The compromise formula being worked out between the warring JD (U) and RJD in Bihar is expected to involve two things - the sacking of scam-tainted Tejaswi Yadav, the State's Deputy CM and Lalu Prasad's son, and his replacement with another member of Lalu's family.

Claiming that he would not buckle under any pressure from any quarter, Lalu on Friday said, "I'm not scared of anybody". "Bihar cannot develop without the overall growth of youths", Kumar said while addressing at a function organised on the occasion of "World Youth Skill Day" in Patna.
