Kochi: If a report submitted by the cops before the Angamali Judicial First Class Magistrate is to be believed, either Pulsar Suni or his aide had handed over the visuals to Dileep and a subsequent dispute over payment resulted in the blackmail and arrest of the actor.

The court remanded him to judicial custody till July 25. When asked by the judge, Dileep maintained that he had no complaints against the police. The prosecution had asserted not to give bail to the actor in the wake of various reports surfacing online supporting the actor. The defence lawyer argued that the police were seeking extension of custody to find an approver, as they failed to find any evidence against the actor.

The case diary relating to the actress abduction case has been submitted to the court as part of the hearing in Dileep's bail.
