That film - which will, as we recently learned, involve de-aging Robert DeNiro via the use of CGI - sounds like it's going to be quite the project.and yet, it sounds like Scorsese's already got one eye on the next one, Killers Of The Flower Moon.

Variety reports that Scorsese and DiCaprio are developing a film adaptation of the true-crime thriller Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Shooting is expected to begin next spring. The project is based on the bestselling book by David Grann.

Rights to the book were purchased by film studio Imperative past year for a reported $5 million. Think about it, the list includes Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, and The Wolf of Wall Street.

Fast forward a few months later, and it appears De Niro may no longer be in the picture (there's no mention of him in the original report), but Scorsese and DiCaprio still very much are.

Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio have made a total of five feature films and one short film since 2002, which have been nominated for thirty-one Academy Awards, winning nine.

Netflix has secured the rights to the film where De Niro plays The Irishman, who is a hit man who gets caught up in a murder scandal.
