The London team have reportedly beaten Newcastle to Hart and are close to finalising a deal.

Randolph's current deal with West Ham expires in June 2020 after he signed a contract extension last summer.

He was turned down in his pursuit of the Republic of Ireland worldwide as even if the Manchester City keeper does make his way to the London Stadium, the former Birmingham City man would still be required as number two.

Joe Hart has passed his West Ham medical and an announcement of his move to the London Stadium could happen today, according to Sky sources.

With the World Cup on the horizon, the Wicklow man needs to be playing first team football in order to be considered Martin O'Neill's number one, should Ireland qualify for Russian Federation next summer.

Randolph spent the majority of the past season as first choice goalkeeper for the Hammers though he ended up losing the position to Adrian towards the end of the season.

Now it looks as if Rafael Benitez could be Randolph's saviour, as the Newcastle Chronicle reports this morning that his services have been offered to the Magpies.

Newcastle's goalkeeper search has been a public one this summer, with Rafa Benitez already looking at Hart, ex-free agent Willy Caballero and Napoli's Pepe Reina.
