Venus beat Johanna Konta on Thursday to reach her ninth Wimbledon final and Serena, who missed her title defence after becoming pregnant with her first child, believes her sibling can win a sixth All England Club crown. However, she hasn't conquered the All England Tennis Club yet, losing in the 2015 final to Venus' sister Serena in straight sets.

Venus has overcome Sjogrens Syndrome and several injuries to reach her first Wimbledon final since 2009 and Serena believes her sister's triumphs inspire others suffering from the auto-immune disease.

"But I think the longer the tournament went on, she got herself out of a couple of tough matches, tough situations and struggles maybe in the first couple of rounds, but the more the draw opened up, the more she feels like it's her time to shine".

"For me, it's incredible". I think it's a huge difference.

Between them, Federer and Williams have contested 18 Wimbledon finals to date. "We work so many years for these moments that she has right now, and I'm really happy for her", the 23-time grand slam victor told Yahoo Sports.

But she has rediscovered her mojo on grass and would climb into the top five if she wins Wimbledon.

Indeed it does. Though it helps having Conchita Martinez - the only Spanish female to have won the women's singles trophy at Wimbledon, beating Martina Navratilova in 1994 - in her corner while regular coach Sam Sumyk is home with his expectant wife. "I don't think I could be 37 and playing that level".

Of course, the first man in space was a Russian and that country's major contribution to space exploration is also acknowledged. A Snoopy astronaut doll that was used as the mascot for Apollo 10 is also now estimated pre-sale at $2,000 to $3,000.

"It was just a very surprising moment when you reach a final in a tournament where you thought it was going to be hard".

"I think I'm here because I've done hard work", said Muguruza, apparently not liking the suggestion that Martinez deserves so much credit.

"It goes a lot also with the strength of your body, your style of game".

The 36-year-old Hingis is just three months younger than Williams but unlike the American, she now only plays doubles and mixed doubles, having last played singles on the Tour in 2007.

"She's helping me how to deal with the tournament because obviously it's a grand slam and it's hard to handle because it's two weeks. For the last years, you see a lot of Williams surname", she said.

But the underdog is unperturbed, believing her 2015 finals defeat will help her too.
