Torino striker Andrea Belotti has agreed through his entourage to join AC Milan, but Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that his club are demanding €80m plus the exchange of M'Baye Niang and Gabriel Paletta.

His predatory instincts had been suggested as potentially lethal before, but the recently-finished campaign saw the 23-year-old take a step up performance-wise that few believed the former Palermo man would be capable of.

This is due to the fact that Belotti has reportedly informed his current club that he only wants Milan, and will wait out all other offers until a move to Vincenzo Montella's side materialises.

Like Manchester United, Chelsea are also interested in Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti, while have also been linked with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Gonzalo Higuain.

Milan have been busy this summer, signing the likes of Bonucci, Andre Silva, Hakan Calhanoglu, Mateo Musacchio and Ricardo Rodriguez.

The addition of Belotti to their ranks could see them challenging for the Serie A title, a title they haven't won since 2010/11.

Belotti has a €100m release clause in his contract but that is only valid for clubs outside of Serie A, and Chelsea have been unwilling to meet that price tag.

The Italian striker has been on the lips of Europe's top clubs over the past six months after scoring 40 goals in 74 appearances for mid table Italian club Torino.

The prolific forward was missing from Torino's kit launch ahead of the 2017-18 season, which prompted further speculation over his future.
