Although it happened five months ago, recent security footage procured by TMZ revealed Latimer slapping a bouncer outside an OH strip club, after which he was doused with pepper spray.

TMZ reports that police were not called and there is no pending criminal investigation.

"It's unfortunate that something from six months ago that didn't result in anything all of this sudden becomes a big story", he tweeted.

According to TMZ, Latimer was attempting to enter Diamonds Cabaret near Dayton, Ohio, with his uncle and friend but got into a disagreement with the bouncer over the club's dress code. The incident occurred in February and Latimer has already acknowledged that it was indeed him in the video.

Latimer responded to the posting of the video Sunday, approximately six months later, with a post to Twitter.

England face mission impossible to halt South Africa's momentum
It paid off as South Africa lost only Dean Elgar before lunch and his fellow opener Heino Kuhn soon after the break. The numbers are not great with 10 called during this series to date and just three successes which feels under par.

He tweeted a response later Sunday in which he said he has "been through so many positive life changes and have grown so much since February 20, and this situation is in the past".

The Broncos and the National Football League have now learned of the incident.

On Sunday, Latimer issued a statement, saying he'd spoken to team officials about the incident.

Latimer also commented on the scuffle.

Latimer, 24, has 16 catches for 158 yards in three seasons with Denver.
