This weekend past the House of Mouse held their annual D23 Expo in Anaheim, California and the mega-studio certainly didn't pull any punches.

All of these are stuff with all kinds of details (is that facility filled with bacta tanks in the beginning?!) that fans will no doubt be poring over in the days to come to try and discern all The Last Jedi's secrets.

We've seen some glimpses of the movie in a teaser trailer, but we get a pretty concentrated dose in this behind-the-scenes vid that shows off some cool fight scenes (Rey with a light saber!) and a bunch of weird new creatures (WTF is that glassy-looking fox?).

Space Planes! Our own Film Crit Hulk has the scoop, and in addition to behind-the-scenes footage and a handsome Leia poster, we can now feast our eyes on the entire collection of The Last Jedi character one-sheets.

Delta hits back at Ann Coulter after her tweetstorm over seat mix-up
And then Coulter persisted by tweeting a photo of the woman even though she was not to blame for the seat reassignment. All customers complied and the flight departed without incident. "Here's the woman given my PRE-BOOKED seat".

Sony brings Alexa support to some of its later model televisions
Behind the hoopla lies a strategy that will pay dividends down the line and make the gargantuan company even more formidable. You can ask Alexa a question, such as 'Alexa, what's the weather today?' and Alexa will respond once your phone is unlocked.

VP Polls: Gopal Krishna Gandhi to File Nomination on July 18
Though the numbers are stacked in favour of the ruling dispensation, the opposition has made it a battle of ideologies. The opposition has already declared the name of former West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi for the post.

Johnson continued: "We obviously didn't make the movie to be her final Star Wars movie".

Also on Saturday, Disney bosses revealed new character posters for Carrie's General Leia, Mark's Luke Skywalker, Daisy's Rey and John's Finn, featuring each seen from the neck down and wearing red. I love how the skin tones all stand out, and everyone's in the outfits we're more or less familiar with if you look closely.

The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro.

Even though Luke Skywalker constructed a new lightsaber in Return of the Jedi, it looks like he'll be handling his old one at some point in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
