Four men in custody after woman's body found inside Melbourne apartment

Emergency services were called to the hotel at 8am on Sunday morning after one of the men found the woman fully clothed and unconscious in the shower.

Two of the men attending the buck's party said they initially thought they were being "stitched up".

She was dressed in blue denim shorts, a long sleeve black top and white trainers.

The cause of the woman's death is not known, and she is yet to be identified. They have been released pending further investigations.

It is believed his brother was one of the four men being held by police.

It's understood the quartet went to a nightclub on King Street with a larger group on Saturday night where they met the woman, who returned to their Oaks apartment.

Police are working to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the death. They are now reviewing the hotel's CCTV.
