Google Maps gives massive update to its users

When selecting a new destination in the app, Maps will pull up things you would expect such as the travel time, any delays, and other relevant information. As you can see above if I leave now I can get to the CBD in a bit under 30 minutes, which is faster than average for the day and time (denoted by the grey shadow behind the green bar). The Yellow colour is to mark moderate traffic on the route at the particular time, and the Red colour shows the high traffic in on the way. It shows an approximate time period during which the traffic conditions will be ideal for travelling.

Google Maps is capable of some seriously impressive things, and that's highlighted by its ability to show you how busy a business is at any given time.

First spotted by Android Police, this new Maps feature is something that nearly everyone can find value in.

It offers nifty graphs to explain real-time traffic conditions. When you've tapped in your start point and destination and hit the Directions button, before you choose to start your journey, tap Route Info instead.

In many areas the dependence on Google map is unparalleled, with satellite views, parking spots and live traffic updates. It recently introduced a nifty feature that tells users about the speed limits for vehicles in specific areas, but it is only available in two locations for now - San Francisco Bay Area in the U.S. and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
