Manchester City signs Brazil U20 midfielder Douglas Luiz from Vasco da Gama

The 19-year-old midfielder, a Brazil under-20 global, posted an image of himself at the 5 star Hotel Camiral ahead of his loan switch to Girona FC, which should be announced tomorrow or soon after.

19-year-old Douglas is expected to immediately head out on loan next season to City's sister club, Girona in Spain.

It remains to be seen as to whether Douglas will break into Pep Guardiola's first team in the 2017-18 season with competition stiff at Eastlands.

Douglas had a strong season with Vasco, which consequently earned him a role with Brazil's U20 squad earlier this year.
